Owner of vineyards since 1735, Mandois is among the rare independent houses in Champagne. Consisting of 35 hectares, Mandois’s vineyards supply 70% of its grape requirements which ensure the continuity of the style and the quality of its wines. Awarded “Best Chardonnay of the World” in 2009, Mandois now introduces the new vintage of the 100% chardonnay Cuvee Victor. Limited in quantity, this champagne comes from a selection of old vines from the villages of Chouilly and Vertus with a parcel by parcel winemaking approach. Every single aspect has been thought in order to make a great champagne. First of all, Victor 2002 aged for seven year on fine lees, in the heart of Mandois cellars. Then, a luxurious touch of oak gives Victor 2002 an impressive dimension and a splendid precision. Lastly, Nature provided this champagne with a beautiful ageing potential.
