Jean Merlaut, Owner: “What strikes me in this 2012 is this velvety texture (…) it is already delicious to drink. It is round, elegant with a very long finish and a nice acidity (…)The legacy of history is extremely important and I think we can envy those who will drink this 2012 vintage in 150 years.”
Philippe Carmagnac, cellar master: “The Nature has helped us to have beautiful grapes thanks to all the hard work done in the vineyard. It is true that we had to be very careful with this vintage. We had to be respectful to grapes. We just had to accompany and not force the Nature. The result is very fruity, fleshy.”
