Michel Chapoutier has just announced the official launch of the 2012 Primeurs campaign of Maison M.Chapoutier in Tain l’Hermitage. Building on their success since the nineties, the “Chapoutier Primeurs” are today a unique opportunity for international buyers to obtain a full guarantee of origin of their Sélections Parcellaires. The 2012 Primeurs campaign will be marked by an even more limited quantity of bottles than in previous years, due to lower yields.

Michel Chapoutier declared: « For Sélections Parcellaires, the “En Primeurs offer” makes sense just like it used to be in Bordeaux: it is a way to buy wines with a great potential, at an affordable price, before international wine critics start publishing their own opinion. At Chapoutier, we want to perpetuate the En Primeur tradition for wine lovers who want to get an access to some bottles of our best limited single vineyards. »

The world’s most admired French wine brand (in Drinks International – March 2013) proposes prestigious names such as La Mordorée, Pavillon, De L’Orée, L’Ermite, Le Méal, Barbe-Rac from the 2012 vintage. These wines will be delivered from 2015. Since 2010, Sélection parcellaire Coteau de Chéry in Condrieu has found its place among the Primeurs alongside V.I.T in Côtes du Roussillon and L-Block from Terlato estate & Chapoutier in Australia.
