Still very young, this wine shows what we vould expect from a Rioja in a modern style. Very intense, deep ruby colour, hints of red fruits, tobacco, cedar, ripe tannins, full bodied, spicy, a nice acidity and a long finish. With 85% tempranillo, 10% Graciano and 5 % Mazuelo, this wine reminded us of the Reserva 2001 that we had last year in Madrid. Made by a young Bodega (created in 1989), this 2004 should age nicely thanks to a well balanced structure and a typicity that we really appreciated. Bravo!
