A NEW FILM: “Vintage Haute Couture” on Yves Saint Laurent. In the beautiful gardens of the Palais Royal during the Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture, Didier Ludot presents some of his most beautiful dresses created by Yves Saint Laurent. “Ladies who worked with him were saying “Monsieur St Laurent”. This “Monsieur” is full of admiration…” he explains.

Sharing a glass of Champagne Henri Giraud’s Fût de chêne, he continues: “Yves St Laurent appreciated to drink Champagne. One of his first theatre costume for the ballets of Christian Petit was a black pullover for Zizi Jeanmaire, full of feathers, and it was called Champagne Rosé. What is really interesting when speaking about Yves St Laurent and Champagne is that, in 1993, he launched his own perfume called Champagne. The stopper had the shape of a champagne bottle’s cork. Later he had to change the name for Yvresse but he always kept this champagne bottle’s cork…
